~의

From Reference


In Korean, the possesive particle is -의 but it is normally pronounced -e. The equivalent of 의 to English is 's.
Here are some examples:

Mr Park's Book
미스터 박의 책

Chinese Currency
중국의 통화

If the possesion of the object is clear then the possesive particle can be left out.

Our School's Playground
우리 학교 놀이터

Also when you use 나, 너 and 저 with the possesive particle you can contract them.

나의 --> 내
너의 --> 네
저의 --> 제
