Bye -- ¾È³ç -- annyong (This is informal, and used alot between friends)
Yes -- ³× -- neh
No -- ¾Æ´Ï¿À / ¾Æ´Ï¿ä -- anio / aniyo
Excuse me -- ½Ç·ÊÇÕ´Ï´Ù -- shille ham ni da (This is polite, when trying to attract someones attention)
Excuse me -- Á˼ÛÇÕ´Ï´Ù -- cho song ham ni da (This is polite, when apologising)
English speakers may feel inclined to use the expression Á˼ÛÇÕ´Ï´Ù whenever they're bumped into on the street. Koreans generally reserve Á˼ÛÇÕ´Ï´Ù for something more serious
In Korean, there are many ways to say thank you. The most two common ways to say thank you are:-
°í¸¿½À´Ï´Ù -- go map seum ni da
and
°¨»çÇÕ´Ï´Ù -- kam sa ham ni da
The two words are different, only in their origin. The first one being "Pure Korean" and the second one being "Sino-Korean"
You can also use:-
°í¸¶¿ö¿ä - goma wuh yo -- thank you
and
Á¤¸» °í¸¿½À´Ï´Ù -- jung mal go map seum ni da -- many thanks
¸¸³ª¼ ¹Ý°©½À´Ï´Ù -- man na suh ban gap seum ni da -- I am glad (or pleased) to meet you
´ç½Å¿¡ ´ëÇØ ¸»¾¸ ¸¹ÀÌ µé¾ú½À´Ï´Ù -- dang sin eh dae hae mal sseum manni deul uh seum ni da -- i've heard alot about you
¸¸³ª ºË°Ô µÇ¾î ¿µ±¤ÀÔ´Ï´Ù -- man na bwip ke dwi uh yong kwang im ni da -- im honored to meet you
¿À·¡ ÀüºÎÅÍ ´ç½ÅÀ» ¸¸³ª°í ½Í¾ú½À´Ï´Ù -- oh rae jun bu tuh dang sin eul man na go ship uh seum ni da -- i've been wanting to meet you for along time
