~½À´Ï´Ù is the polite verb ending. It is attached to the dictionary form of a Korean verb when the verb stem ends in a consonant.
- I am in Texas.
- Á¦°¡ Åػ罺ÁÖ¿¡ ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.
The verb ÀÖ´Ù (meaning "exist") has the verb stem ÀÖ. Since this verb stem ends in a consonant, we use ½À´Ï´Ù. ÀÖ + ½À´Ï´Ù = ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.
For verb stems ending in a vowel, see ~¤²´Ï´Ù.
